Onyx SHRS PLO Invitational

For the first time in industry history, and in response to player demand, the $100,000 buy-in Onyx SHRS PLO Invitational will run from 19–21 August 2025. Mirroring the NLH format, PLO enthusiasts can join this exclusive event by either being, or partnering with, an Invited Player.

General Rules

Tournaments

All tournaments will be played 7-Handed. There will be an unofficial Final Table of 9 for each event
Re-Entry is permitted throughout the registration period
Shot clocks will be implemented from the start of all tournaments. For full Shot Clock Rules click here
Sunglasses, masks, scarfs & intentional covering of face are not permitted when you have live cards during a hand
Invitational Tournaments are restricted and do not count towards Player of the Series
Side event #5 #6 #9 #10 & #13 will have a 50% discount on registration fees for players listed in the seat draw for the start of play

Invitational Rules

Players are required to play from the start of the tournament. Chips will be in play from Hand 1
Invited Players and Pros will be seated separately for the first 12 levels of the tournament
There will be a redraw at the end of Day 1 - Level 8
At the end of Level 12, there will be a redraw to equally combine the remaining Invited Players and Pros
At the end of Level 16, or when 21 players remain, whichever comes first, a full random redraw will take place.
If a player wishes to re-enter, they must do so within 60 minutes of being eliminated
Players eliminated in Level 8 have the option to re-enter during Level 9 on Day 2
Players are required to commit to a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure their seat in Invitationals
Players will receive 4 complimentary nights at Merit Royal Diamond, Deluxe King. Players who play both NLH and PLO Invitational events will receive 7 complimentary nights

General

Scheduled breaks are only a guideline and may be adjusted during the event
*Play To times are estimated and should be used as a guide only
Management may alter levels played and reserves the right to amend or alter any portion of the tournament
By participating in the tournaments, you agree to the use of your image, likeness, and name in any Onyx or partner marketing without compensation. All participants have the option to use a nickname whilst appearing on streams

Deductions & Fees

Guarantees are before deductions
$10,000 Buy-In Events will have 4% withheld for Operational Costs & 2% for Marketing & Promotions
Events $25,000 Buy-In or higher will have 3% withheld for Operational Costs
Side event #5 #6 #9 #10 & #13 will have a 50% discount on registration fees for players listed in the seat draw for the start of play
